The Marvelous Mrs. Showing Rating details. Sort order. The first half of the book was difficult to get through, because I didn't really like Ginny. Or should I say, i really didn't like Ginny. At some point I suppose I got used to it, and than all of a sudden the book was finished.
All in all not a book I would recommend to anyone.
Feb 09, Angie Fehl rated it it was ok. Standard fluff, quickly forgettable. This book has been on my TBR for ages.

Stumbled upon a copy and figured since this is the month for lovers, so to speak, why not finally get into this one? I was a little bummed to find that this is pretty standard fluff read fare -- not completely awful but nothing stand out spectacular either. I was really hoping for the idea of revisiting past dating experiences to be a nice cup of LOL. Ginny starts out questioning the relationship she has at the beginning Standard fluff, quickly forgettable. Ginny starts out questioning the relationship she has at the beginning of the story, finally snagging an "almost normal" guy, but after a few months "almost normal" translates to boring in her mind.
She can't figure out why she can't be perfectly content with this guy, so she sets out to re-examine past relationships and see if she can find any insight from that. Ginny's personality got tiring after awhile and I didn't see a lot of character growth with her so in the end, I found this an okay, casual kind of read for a lazy afternoon but not much more beyond that. Dec 20, Kerry rated it liked it. Ginny Blue has decided to go back through her Ex-Files, ex-boyfriends to see if maybe she can figure out where she goes wrong in her love life.
I came to like Ginny during her exploration into her past. I also liked her close group of friends, who also decided to try to do some soul searching of their own, regarding their mistakes. I was just a little disappointed with this story, because it dragged in places and I didn't really see that much got resolved at all. I definitely liked the writin Ginny Blue has decided to go back through her Ex-Files, ex-boyfriends to see if maybe she can figure out where she goes wrong in her love life.
I definitely liked the writing style and character development, but feel that it fell a bit short, from what it had the potential to be.
