These strong roots led Amythest to continue her studies in herbalism and spend her college years studying Environmental science, and sustainable agriculture while deepening her skills with several internships alongside renowned organic farmers throughout Sonoma County and the Bay Area.
Her expansive experience includes work as a native plant specialist at Ya-Ka-Ama native plant nursery. She has done restoration work with the Northern California Indian Development Council while also holding the garden manager for the Healthy Traditions diabetes prevention program.
